Administration

Sri Sathya Sai district was formed on 4 April 2022 from the Dharmavaram, Penukonda, Kadiri revenue divisions of erstwhile Anantapur district. A new Puttaparthi revenue division is created as part of the formation.

Sri Sathya Sai district is a newly formed district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, with Puttaparthi as its administrative headquarters and was formed on 4th April 2022.

It has 4 revenue divisions with 32 mandals, 6 municipalities and 467 villages. Population of 18.40 lakhs with a male population of 9.31 lakhs and female population 9.08 lakhs (as per the census 2011).
